I am a 55 year old attorney. I am also a fiction writer, having written one novel and one compilation of short stories. I have been married to my wife for 34 years. We were High School sweethearts. We have three children. The oldest is in the work force. The middle child is in his third year at law school. The youngest is a girl currently attending The University of Illinois. She is in journalism and has plans to further her education in law school.
I am a hunter, golfer and blogger. I write two blogs as well as keep a web site current. I am currently recovering from a stroke I had in March, 2010. I do not smoke or drink, anymore; I am overweight and have been my entire life. I have been dieting since I was 13 years old but I apparently am no good at it.
I enjoy the practice of law. I enjoy taking a side and convincing others I am right. Politically, I am conservative. I voted for George W. Bush twice and regret it. I am not happy with the government as it now exists but I hope to offer ideas and programs that can change the way it is through my writing.
I enjoy a good joke, a good movie, a good newspaper, oldies music and a good time. I have enjoyed life. I am extremely proud of my wife and my three children. None of them has ever done a thing I am ashamed of. I cannot speak for them about me.
